Citrus Grey Iced Tea
with agave and fresh oranges
A refreshing summer drink, iced earl grey tea with fresh lemons / oranges.
This recipe makes approx 4-5 drinks.
- 2 x tablespoons of Citrus Grey Tea (12g)
- 1 litre of filtered water
- 1 lemon or orange
- Agave to taste (approx 30ml)
- Ice
- Boil a litre of water
- Add 2.5 tbsp of Citrus Grey tea to a jug and allow to steep for 1 - 2 minutes. Then use a sieve to strain the infusion.
- Add 2-3 tbsp of agave or maple to the tea.
- Cool for a few minutes, then refrigerate until chilled.
- When the infusion is cold, add ice, more agave if required and garnish with fresh orange / lemon slices.
- TIP: You can make iced cubes from any left over iced tea. This stops the drinks from diluting.
